Wastewater Services

Western's Board of Directors will hold a Public Hearing August 18, 2010 at 6 p.m. at its Headquarters, 450 E. Alessandro Blvd. in Riverside regarding the proposed adoption of Resolution 2675 establishing rates and charges for wastewater service. While Western attempts to avoid rate increases whenever possible, the District has experienced increases in electricity, biosolids disposal, construction materials and chemical costs.

The rate changes vary by service area due to various conveyance and treatment factors. For more information about the increase for your service area, click on the area where you receive service:

Sewer Code "L" - Western customers served by the Western Riverside County Regional Water Authority wastewater treatment plant; areas include Lake Hills, Victoria Grove, La Sierra and Home Gardens.

Sewer Code "L-TX" - As Western does not provide water service to all of the properties in this region, annual wastewater charges for your property are collected on the County tax roll.

Sewer Code "ME" - Western customers served by the Western Water Recycling Facility; areas east of the I-215 freeway.

Sewer Code "MW" - Western customers served by the Western Water Recycling Facility; areas west of the I-215 freeway; areas include Mission Ranch, Boulder Springs, Riverside, Perris and Cajalco/Woodcrest.

Sewer Code "RCWD" - Western customers served by the Rancho California Water District treatment facility; area served is Murrieta.

Sewer Code "EMWD" - Western customers served by the Eastern Municipal Water District treatment facility; areas include Murrieta along the Madison Avenue corridor.
