Riverside-Corona Feeder

The R-C Feeder, Western's drought-proofing project, was recently infused with $4.3 million from a State Water Resources Control Board grant providing greater regional water supply reliability. Perris Valley Pipeline

The Perris Valley Pipeline is a 96-inch line that will provide substantial water reliability and quality benefits to a significant portion of western Riverside County. Metropolitan Water District, Eastern Municipal Water District and Western are developing the $110 million project jointly. The pipeline will travel from Metropolitan's Mills Treatment Plant east along Alessandro and then south to Oleander.

Historic Downtown Murrieta Sewer Enhancement Project

To protect the water supply, Western, together with the City of Murrieta and the County of Riverside Economic Development Agency, proposes installing a public sewer system to replace aging septic tanks in Historic Downtown Murrieta. The system could prevent approximately 16 million gallons of wastewater a year from being sent to septic systems, protect the groundwater quality and enhance the city's utility public improvement efforts. Water Fluoridation

Beginning November 2007, the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, which provides water to Western that in turn delivers water to your home or business, will start adding fluoride to its treated water supply. Details.

Payments Made Easy

Paying your monthly water bill can be simple, quick and convenient. There are several ways to pay. Western has also just added "CheckFree" as a drop-off payment option.

Notice of Public Hearing Water Rates

Western's Board of Directors will hold a public hearing regarding the proposed adoption of rates and charges for water rates on Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. Wastewater rates were increased on Aug. 6. For details, click on either water or wastewater above.
