Join us for a two-hour workshop presented by Bob Perry, author of Chapter 2, "Designing a Residential Landscape" of the SoCal Yard Transformation, A Step-by-Step Guide to Get the Yard You Want. He will take us through the preliminary steps of sketching your area and ideas onto paper, to plant selection and placement, to irrigation planning. Bob is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Landscape Architecture at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and is the principal of Perry and Associates Collaborative, Landscape Architecture. He is a widely recognized authority regarding the landscape use of plants and water conservation for semi-arid zones. Pick up your copy of the SoCal Yard Transformation, A Step-by-Step Guide to Get the Yard You Want. UCCE Master Gardeners will be present to provide information and answer questions about gardening in the Inland Empire.
