Please join the Water Task Force as we hear from state leaders on the many proposals put forth to solve water issues facing California and the Sacramento-San Joaquin Bay Delta.
Assembly Member Jose Medina, representing the 61st State Assembly District, serves on a number of key committees including the Assembly Water, Parks, and Wildlife Committee. Assembly Member Medina will speak on the numerous water related issues addressed at the Committee this past year and share his strategic thoughts on water related issues impacting our region.
Steve Arakawa, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California’s Manager of Bay/Delta Initiatives currently oversees the plans and activities to secure a reliable supply from the State Water Project through improvements in the Sacramento San Joaquin Bay Delta. He will provide an in depth conversation on the California WaterFix and an overview of state and federal activity to secure the Delta.
